Pen and Ink Portrait of Ketanji Brown Jackson 1, Associate Justice of the Supreme Court

Nominated to the Supreme Court in 2022, Ketanji Brown Jackson is the first black female member of the body. This gestural drawing is based off her first official supreme court portrait. I watched her confirmation hearings and listed to her speak, and I tried to capture some of her personality. 

This original drawing is 24" x 18" and is done in pen and ink.
